Skopje, 27 June 2024 (MIA) - Flooded yards, basements, houses, fallen trees, poles and damaged cars were reported to the single emergency number after the storm that hit the regions of Tetovo, Skopje and Kumanovo on Wednesday evening.

A tin roof was damaged during the storm posing a danger to fall in a Skopje street, it was reported to the Crisis Management Center. Also, it was reported that traffic was interrupted toward Butel municipality due to a fallen tree.

A gutter was ripped during the storm on ASNOM bulevard in Skopje around 8:30 pm, it was reported to the Aerodrom local municipality, and a basement was flooded in the same settlement.

In Tetovo, a house was flooded.

A house flooded also in Kumanovo, said the Crisis Management Center.

The storm was caused by an intensive unstable air mass followed by a intensive heavy showers, strong winds and hail.
