Health Ministry: Contract on new Shtip hospital terminated, invitation to tender next
Skopje, 10 July 2023 (MIA) - The contract on the new hospital in Shtip with the "INTRAKAT" contractor was terminated on June 29. A review, i.e. a cross-section of the activities is needed, to be followed by an invitation to tender for a new contractor in accordance with a Government's conclusion, the Ministry of Health said in a press release on Monday.
"Within the next 42 days, as-built plans should be submitted, a new invitation to tender documentation should be prepared, and a new public procurement should be announced within 30 days," the press release adds.
Request letters for issue of bank guarantees in the amount of EUR 6 million have been submitted and realized.
"The deadline for construction was 30 June 2023, and so far only 30 percent has been completed," reads the press release. ssh/nn/
