Skopje, 28 January 2022 (MIA) – Health Minister Bekim Sali met Friday with UN Resident Coordinator in North Macedonia, Rossana Dudziak, for talks on several topics including sustainable and modern health system, promoting preventive health services, support for people with disabilities, and budgeting of the health sector. “Talks, among other, tackled activities in response to gender violence, as well as various services for health and social support of vulnerable groups as part of the provision of integrated services, promoting healthy eating habits in schools,” Sali posted on Facebook. He stressed that he has expressed deep gratitude for the overall support in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, as a major item on the agenda of the UN agencies in the past two years, as part of which significant assistance and coordination has been provided in dealing with the effects of the pandemic.
