Skopje, 11 January 2024 (MIA) - Health Minister Fatmir Mexhiti urged Thursday parents to vaccinate their children after cases of the whooping cough (pertussis) have emerged in the country and the region.

Minister Mexhiti said there are sufficient vaccine quantities and he has issued an order to check all baby vaccination cards.

"It is high time we change the mindset. Every vaccine leads to a life saved. Therefore, I call on parents to vaccinate their children for their own well-being and in order to prevent these diseases," said Mexhiti.
