Prilep, 3 October 2024 (MIA) – Three people from Prilep were killed and one was injured in a fatal car crash early Thursday on the Prilep – Bitola road.

It was a head-on collision between a Toyota with Prilep register plates, which was driving toward Bitola, and a truck driving the opposite way, toward Prilep.

A firefighting team is still trying to put out a fire that broke from the direct collision. 

The crash was reported around 7:45 am, said the head of the Prilep emergency unit, Boshe Milosheski. Three people died on the scene. The truck’s driver was injured in the accident. 

Police and a public prosecutor are at the scene launching an investigation.

The Prilep – Bitola road is fully closed.
