Head of Free Zones Authority meets with Hyundai Corporation Holdings representative
- The head of the Free Zones Authority, Goce Dimovski, held a meeting Wednesday with Sungwoo Hong, General Manager at the European office of South Korean company Hyundai Corporation Holdings, during which they assessed potential investment opportunities within the technological industrial development zones, as well as the zones’ potential and advantages, and the support mechanisms offered by the state to foreign investors, the Free Zones Authority said in a press release.

Skopje, 5 November 2025 (MIA) - The head of the Free Zones Authority, Goce Dimovski, held a meeting Wednesday with Sungwoo Hong, General Manager at the European office of South Korean company Hyundai Corporation Holdings, during which they assessed potential investment opportunities within the technological industrial development zones, as well as the zones’ potential and advantages, and the support mechanisms offered by the state to foreign investors, the Free Zones Authority said in a press release.
At the meeting, Dimovski highlighted opportunities offered by the zones, noting that the main goal is to create an even more favorable investment climate, with investments that bring high added value. He stressed that the Free Zones Authority is fully committed to supporting foreign investors through efficient administrative processes, a stable and predictable business environment, and facilitated access to modern infrastructure and a skilled workforce.
“The representative of Hyundai Corporation Holdings, Sungwoo Hong, expressed particular interest in Macedonia as a destination for a potential expansion, noting that the company is seeking locations that offer good infrastructure, a skilled workforce, and favorable conditions for expanding production capacities,” the Free Zones Authority said in the press release.
