Skopje, 31 March 2023 (MIA) – The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Political System and Inter-Community Relations, Artan Grubi, and the German Chargé d'Affaires to North Macedonia, Otto Graf, held a meeting Friday focused on the Euro-integrations, the constitutional changes and the government’s plan for the realization of these goals in 2023. Grubi informed Graf that the government has drafted the proposed constitutional amendments and preparations are underway for their implementation, Grubi’s Office said in a press release.

“The Federal Republic of Germany has supported and continues to support the Republic of North Macedonia on its path to EU integration and the domestic reforms,” Grubi’s Office said in the press release.

At the meeting, Grubi and Graf spoke about the reforms in the field of rule of law, as well as the implementation of the vetting process as a necessary process for the country.

“Grubi and Graf focused on the situation in the region, with a special emphasis on the agreement reached by the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Serbia, providing their full support for the normalization of relations between the two countries,” said the press release. ad/sk/
