Skopje, 16 February 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia has recorded progress in the implementation of complex reforms in strengthening democratic processes and transparency of institutions, agreed Deputy PM for good governance policies Slavica Grkovska and a delegation of the National Democratic Institute (NDI), led by country director Robert Scott Heaslet, on Wednesday. Deputy PM Grkovska thanked NDI for the long-standing support to North Macedonia, noting that the Government is committed to the implementation of good governance reforms. Grkovska said the focus of the good governance policies is on establishing partnership and cooperation with independent state institutions in the field, highlighting the significance of the cooperation in the civil society and implementation of the digitization process as the basis for good governance policies, the Government said in a press release. It adds that NDI reaffirmed its support to the Government in further development of the reform processes and presented results of its research in the field.
