Skopje, 7 February 2022 (MIA) – Deputy PM for policies of good governance Slavica Grkovska met Monday with German Ambassador Anke Holstein, discussing the enhancement of the principles of good governance, responsibility, accountability and transparency. Deputy PM Grkovska said her priorities focused on the fight against corruption, including through an e-system of reporting corruption and partnership with other institutions, her Office said in a press release. Grkovska and Holstein expressed readiness for cooperation and improvement of the legal framework with regards to origin of property and strengthening the capacities of financial institutions. Interlocutors agreed that public administration reforms would help realize the basic and advanced principles of good governance as strategic principles of the Government’s policies, reads the press release.
