Skopje, 31 January 2024 (MIA) - Caretaker Deputy PM for Good Governance Policies, Slavica Grkovska, is paying a visit to the United States to attend the Annual National Prayer Breakfast in Washington on Thursday.

As part of the visit, Grkovska will meet with the United States Deputy Assistant Secretary and Special Representative to the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, as well as with Deputy Assistant Attorney-General, Bruce Swartz. The agenda also includes meetings with top officials of the State Department's International Leadership Program and USAID's Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Governance, the Government said in a press release. 

In addition, Grkovska will participate in a security forum discussing Chinese and Russian influence in the Balkans, and at a special event at Johns Hopkins University, she will address the topic "Why is the fight against corruption so difficult in my country" alongside foreign policy analyst and Balkan expert Edward Joseph.
