Grkovska - Tiganj: Croatia's expert support significant in EU negotiation process
Skopje, 20 February 2023 (MIA) - Deputy PM for good governance policies Slavica Grkovska met Monday with Croatian Ambassador Nives Tiganj, discussing cooperation between the two countries, as well as North Macedonia's European integration path.   
Deputy PM Grkovska expressed gratitude for Croatia's support to the country in the process of European Union accession negotiations, particularly the expert support given Croatia's experience in the process. 
"Grkovska said her office coordinates the process of digital transformation of society, pointing out that currently the focus is particularly on the issuance of electronic identity card and the law on archival operations. In addition, she noted, coordination of the institutions responsible for dealing with corruption is underway, in order to enable swift and efficient reforms and implementation of anti-corruption policies," the Deputy PM's office said. 
 Ambassador Tiganj stressed that Croatia is North Macedonia's big supporter, pointing out that her country is available for expert support during the negotiation process.
 Interlocutors expressed mutual satisfaction with the attitude that the two countries have towards the minorities from North Macedonia and Croatia.
