Skopje, 21 June 2023 (MIA) - Deputy PM for good governance policies Slavica Grkovska expects a reaction from the judicial authorities in the country after the U.S. Department of State designated on Tuesday Struga Mayor Ramiz Merko as generally ineligible for entry into the United States due to his involvement in significant corruption.

"The clear messages and concrete steps taken by our international allies in the fight against corruption must be properly understood by judicial authorities at home. Because their fundamental role is to ensure equality of citizens before the law and deliver effective and non-selective justice," Deputy PM Grkovska posted on Facebook.
