Greek customs strike to suspend freight traffic at Evzoni, Dojran and Medzhitlija border crossings

Freight traffic at the Bogorodica – Evzoni, Dojran – Dojrani and Medzhitlija – Niki border crossings will be completely suspended, except for perishable goods, starting from Monday midnight and until 23:59 on Wednesday, as part of a two-day strike of Greek customs officers, said the Customs Administration of North Macedonia.

Greek customs strike to suspend freight traffic at Evzoni, Dojran and Medzhitlija border crossings

Skopje, 1 April 2024 (MIA) – Freight traffic at the Bogorodica – Evzoni, Dojran – Dojrani and Medzhitlija – Niki border crossings will be completely suspended, except for perishable goods, starting from Monday midnight and until 23:59 on Wednesday, as part of a two-day strike of Greek customs officers, said the Customs Administration of North Macedonia.

According to the Customs Administration, citing information received from the Greek Embassy in Skopje, passenger vehicles will periodically be allowed to cross, but passengers are advised to avoid moving through the border crossings during the strike.
