Skopje, 21 September 2021 (MIA) – Minister of Information Society and Administration Jeton Shaqiri on Tuesday hosted a meeting with officials of the US Embassy and the Estonian Center of Eastern Partnership (ECEAP). “At the meeting, the $350,000 grant from these two institution for the North Macedonia government was confirmed to conduct mentorship activities and get assistance to implement electronic services of the public institutions in North Macedonia in the next 18 months,” the Ministry of Information Society and Administration said. The Ministry, said Shaqiri, is fully committed to digitization and attracting partners and stakeholders to help the institution, in addition to its own budget, increase transparency of other institutions, facilitate procedures and services through electronic services, improve democracy and improve the digital skills of public administration staff. The Minister also thanked the US Embassy for its continuous support to the Ministry of Information Society and Administration, said the press release.
