Gov't tasks competent institutions with finalizing reform agenda within Growth Plan

Skopje, 26 March 2024 (MIA) - The Government, at the proposal of the Secretariat for European Affairs, approved at its Tuesday session a document on the status of the reform agenda 2024-2027 within the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans.
Competent institutions are tasked with finalizing the draft reform agenda 2024-2027, which will be then submitted to the European Commission, the Government said in a press release.
The reform agenda represents a comprehensive set of measures to achieve the intended goals.
Priority areas for North Macedonia include 1. Governance / Public Administration Reform and Public Finance Management, 2. Digital, Energy / Green Transition, 3. Human Capital, 4. Business Environment and 5. Rule of Law.
"The reform agenda will need to include priorities for investment projects (through WBIF), geared towards transport, energy, digitalization, education and skill development," reads the press release.
