Gov’t sets two draft laws for ratification of agreements within Open Balkan
Skopje, 10 October 2022 (MIA) – The Government on Monday set two draft laws for ratification of agreements signed as part of cooperation within Open Balkan. The draft laws were proposed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.   The first is a draft law for ratification of the agreement between Western Balkan countries in the area of mutual recognition of diplomas and scientific degrees issued by higher education institutions and other authorized institutions, aimed at facilitating the procedures for recognition, the Government said in a press release.   The second is a draft law for ratification of the agreement on cooperation in protection against disasters in the Western Balkans, the purpose of which is for the parties of the agreement, in accordance with their respective available capacities, to provide each other assistance in the event of disasters, when the requesting party is unable to deal with the effects of the disaster using its own resources.
