Gov’t extends price caps on basic food products until end of February

At a session Monday, the Government decided to extend the measure capping the prices of rice, flour, bread and other baked goods, biscuits, wafers, pasta, meat and meat products, milk, eggs, white cheese, yellow cheese and other dairy products, as well as mineral non-carbonated and carbonated water, and non-carbonated and carbonated soft drinks and light beer.

Gov’t extends price caps on basic food products until end of February

Skopje, 22 January 2024 (MIA) – At a session Monday, the Government decided to extend the measure capping the prices of rice, flour, bread and other baked goods, biscuits, wafers, pasta, meat and meat products, milk, eggs, white cheese, yellow cheese and other dairy products, as well as mineral non-carbonated and carbonated water, and non-carbonated and carbonated soft drinks and light beer.

“With the adopted amendments to the existing decision, at the proposal of the Ministry of Economy, the price caps measure is being extended until February 29, 2024, instead of until January 31, 2024,” said the Government.
