Skopje, 22 October 2022 (MIA) – The government in its Saturday’s press release said that 8,737 MWh of electricity were produced by the thermal power plants. Two blocks of mining-power complex REK Bitola and one block of REK Oslomej are in operation. Overhaul activities of thermal power plant (TEC) Negotino are underway in order to strengthen the plant and make it more reliable for the next period, when electricity consumption will increase. It also states that 3,124 MWh of electricity were produced by hydropower plants and by the Bogdanci Wind Park on Friday. Power Plants of North Macedonia (ESM) on Friday succeeded from its own domestic capacities to provide electricity to households and small consumers, the government’s press release reads.
