Skopje, 29 August 2023 (MIA) - The Government at Tuesday's session approved the text of the draft law on ratification of the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Government of the Republic of Croatia, the Government of Hungary, the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, the Government of Montenegro, the Government of the Republic of Serbia, The Government of the Slovak Republic and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, on cooperation and coordination of search and rescue activities in the field of aviation, signed on February 22, 2023, in Ohrid. 

The Agreement establishes a framework for cooperation between the signatory parties in the implementation of search and rescue activities in civil aviation and provides for various responsibilities, in order to fully comply with the obligations set in the standards and the recommended practices of the International Civil Aviation Organization - ICAO, the Government said in a press release.
