Skopje, 2 September 2024 (MIA) - About 84,000 Government employees will receive the vacation bonus by the end of November or the beginning of December, said Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski on Monday.

"The Budget revision includes about Mden 1 billion (EUR 16.2 million) for payment of the vacation bonus, which is a duty for all employers, including the Government as the biggest one. This commitment will be honored by the end of November or the beginning of December," PM Mickoski told reporters.

Regarding the unions' demand for increase of the minimum wage, he said the Government is ready to talk to everyone while having in mind the budget's capacity.

"We are prepared for a meeting with unions and employers, so we can reach a solution together," noted Mickoski.
