Skopje, 28 December 2023 (MIA) - The Government decided Thursday to temporary cancel short-stay visas (Visa C) for third-country foreign nationals holding a valid British, US and Canadian visa.

The decision, valid throughout 2024, cancels short-term visas for foreign nationals holding passports of third countries and having a valid British, US and Canadian visa. They are permitted to stay up to 15 days in North Macedonia, and the validity of the visas should be 5 days longer than the planned stay in the country, the Government said in a press release.

As elaborated by the petitioner, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, these visas were temporary cancelled in period 2016-2023, and considering the positive effect of the decision in attracting foreign tourists and strengthening business communication, such a decision should be adopted for 2024 as well.
