Skopje, 15 July 2022 (MIA) — The government has strongly condemned the recent uncivilized attacks and insults in the Parliament by VMRO-DPMNE MPs towards high representatives of the European Union. According to an official press release, the opposition was persistently spreading hate speech in Parliament and on the streets. “The main goal of these shameful and low-level attacks is to obstruct the Republic of North Macedonia’s European integration progress,” the press release says. “We are firmly determined to become part of the European family, where we belong, while safeguarding our national interests and the Macedonian language,” the release notes, adding that the government will continue working for North Macedonia’s prosperity and full EU membership. mr/
