Skopje, 22 November 2022 (MIA) - The government is open for those political parties that share the values of the government coalition and that are in favor of resuming the country's European path, because we have no other alternative, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski said referring to his talks with the Alliance for Albanian leader discussing the prospect of the party joining the government majority. Citing a government press release, Kovachevski reiterated that he had discussed with AA leader Arben Taravari the European future of North Macedonia and the decisions set to be made with a broad social and political consensus in Parliament. "We also discussed in detail all the laws and reforms set to be adopted, especially as regards rule of law, the fight against corruption and the economic laws considered key in dealing with the economic and energy crisis," he told reporters. No ministries and posts were discussed, he said, because political concepts and political values had been in the focus. "If you have someone to make coalition with, then the basic values should be agreed first to serve as a foundation for political coalition. It will be followed by the distribution of posts and obligations," Kovachevski said speaking to reporters after the second Socio-Ecological Forum, organized by Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES), Olof Palme International Center and the Progres Institute for Social Democracy.
