Gov't eases Covid protocols for cafes and restaurants
Skopje, 19 October 2021 (MIA) – The government at Tuesday's session adopted amendments to the Covid protocols for cafes and restaurants lifting the limit to the number of customers allowed to sit at one table. It also allowed hospitality businesses to increase indoor and outdoor capacities, the government said in a press release. These amendments, which are in accordance with the current epidemiological situation in the country, lifts the limitation of max customers per table in cafes, restaurants and hotel restaurants, both indoors and outdoors. “There is an added amendment to the capacity fullness of these facilities, i.e., the number of guests indoors and outdoors cannot exceed 50% of the facilities’ capacity,” the government said. Existing measures and protocols remain in force for catering facilities in terms of organizing weddings and parties.
