Skopje, 18 November 2023 (MIA) – The Global Parliament of Mayors is holding its Annual Summit on Saturday in Skopje, The Summit, which is expected to be attended by around 150 mayors from all parts of the world, focuses on the topic “Empowering, Engaging, and Caring Cities: Delivering Democracy and Development with the Next Generations”.

In a press release, the City of Skopje said the Summit will be opened by the Mayor of Skopje, Danela Arsovska. While, President Stevo Pendarovski; the European Union’s Ambassador to North Macedonia, David Geer; and the Secretary General of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, Mathieu Mori, are also expected to address the Summit.
