Brussels, 18 December 2024 (MIA) - Bulgaria supports the EU enlargement with the Western Balkans on the principle of adhering to the Union requirements, said Bulgarian Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev in Brussels on Wednesday.

"Specifically on North Macedonia, we have the so-called compromise of 2022 that we made. This is already a European (requirement), signed by all EU member-states, including Bulgaria, plus North Macedonia, and there is nothing to negotiate about. Our position remains unchanged," PM Glavchev told reporters ahead of the EU-Western Balkans Summit.
