Skopje, 24 November 2022 (MIA) – Discussions of the joint multidisciplinary commission of experts on historical and educational issues between North Macedonia and Bulgaria were positive and tackled text books, said co-chair Dragi Gjorgiev after the meeting in Skopje on Thursday. “There is still no concrete result, conclusion, recommendation. Discussions continue on the same topic tomorrow morning,” Gjorgiev told Sitel TV. Back in August, the joint commission adopted and released recommendations related to improvements in text books for sixth grade in North Macedonia and fifth grade in Bulgaria, as well as recommendations on joint observance of figures from the Middle Ages – Ss.Cyril and Methodius, St.Clement, St.Naum and Tsar Samoil.
