German Embassy in Skopje to appoint agricultural attaché for entire Western Balkan region

Skopje, 3 October 2023 (MIA) - The German Embassy in Skopje will appoint in January 2024 German diplomat and employee of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Frank Müller, as an agricultural attaché for North Macedonia, and the entire Western Balkans region.

German Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture Cem Özdemir announced on Tuesday that Müller’s goal will be to intensify cooperation in the agro-sector.

"I would like to announce that Frank Müller, one of our best colleagues employed at the Ministry, who until recently was in Kyiv and was one of the first diplomats to return to the German Embassy and work in Kyiv, will be a new attaché at the German Embassy in Skopje, as a representative for the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, who will be responsible not only for North Macedonia, but the entire Western Balkans. His goal will be to intensify cooperation in this area. Germany supports North Macedonia's accession process and will do whatever it can to support you on your path to a full-fledged EU membership," Özdemir said after a bilateral meeting with host and Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Ljupcho Nikolovski.
