GDP rises by 0.6 percent in Q4: statistics

Skopje, 2 March 2023 (MIA) - The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased by 0.6 percent in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2022, said the State Statistical Office on Thursday.
The biggest increase was recorded in sections: G, H and I - Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles; Transportation and storage; Accommodation and food service activities by 8.3%; R, S and T - Arts, entertainment and recreation; Other service activities; Activities of households as employers; undifferentiated goods and services producing activities of households for own use by 1.5%, as well as L - Real estate activities by 1.3%.
In Q4, Household final consumption, including Non-profit institutions serving households, increased by 17.0% in nominal terms, and its share in the GDP structure was 67.1%.
In the same period, Export of goods and services increased by 25.4% in nominal terms, while Import of goods and services increased by 17.5%.
