Tetovo, 2 December 2021 (MIA) – British Ambassador to North Macedonia Rachel Galloway attended a debate in Tetovo on Thursday and expressed hopes the North Macedonia’s EU integration process will resume once Bulgaria forms a new government. “I think that the country is right to aim towards European integration. Political parties and citizens have said on many occasions that this is the direction they want the country to move in. Obviously, the process was delayed in the past few years for different reasons. The election process in Bulgaria is still not over, but I hope that we’ll see some progress once the new government is formed,” Galloway said. The Ambassador attended in Tetovo a round table on encouraging women to take part in decision-making process within local self-government in the Polog region.
