Skopje, 16 November 2022 (MIA) - North Macedonia is the backbone of stability in the region of the Western Balkans, which is why it is important to count on its capacity to integrate all different communities. It is something we should all learn from, French Secretary of State for Europe Laurence Boone said Wednesday in Skopje. Asked at a news conference whether France could make efforts to prevent any further blockade from Bulgaria, she stressed that it was her country that contributed to unblocking the situation and to helping North Macedonia have European perspective. France, Boone vowed, will keep supporting Skopje in this ambitious project whose ultimate goal is 2030. According to her, there were similar debates in Bulgaria and a balanced agreement was concluded respecting the red lines of both sides.
