Formal academy on International Day of Bosniaks
Skopje, 27 September 2022 (MIA) – On occasion of the International Day of Bosniaks-September 28, a formal academy was held in the Skopje-based Army Hall on Tuesday evening, organized by the Bosniak National Council of North Macedonia, under the auspices of the Bosniak Democratic Union. Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski told the event that Bosniaks in the country are integrated in all institutions and walks of life – culture, sports, art, development of business environment, but also the Government coalition. “Our fellow citizens Bosniaks represent an integral piece of our common, multiethnic and multicultural state, taking part in all progressive processes on the road to our better tomorrow,” said PM Kovachevski. According to him, the Government is committed to continued enhancement of rights of all citizens, including the Bosniak ethnic community. “North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina are friendly countries focused on peace in the Balkans and a Euro-Atlantic future. The Parliament has endorsed a resolution condemning the Srebrenica genocide. Let’s continue to built the successful concept ‘One Society for All’ together, because our unity and tradition represent our strength,” said Kovachevski.
