Skopje, 28 February 2026 (MIA) – Eleven Macedonian nationals so far have asked to be evacuated from Israel, says the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.

“According to latest information, the airspace remains closed at least until Monday. After it reopens, ways and models for organizing a possible evacuation will be discussed according to the circumstances and the security situation. At this stage, our nationals are advised to closely follow official notifications from Israeli authorities, to act according to security protocols and to remain sheltered when ordered,” the Foreign Ministry says Saturday. 

So far, no one has asked the diplomatic offices in Doha and Abu Dhabi to help them in being evacuated.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade via the embassies in Tel Aviv, Doha and Abu Dhabi is in contact and fully at disposal of the Macedonian nationals in a need of help and coordination.
