Foreign Minister Mucunski in visit to Lithuania 

Skopje, 26 November 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski is set to pay a visit to Lithuania from Wednesday to Saturday.

As part of the visit, Mucunski will meet with his counterpart, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys, as well as Lithuanian Members of Parliament who are a part of the committees on foreign affairs, EU affairs and members of the Lithuanian Parliament’s group for cooperation with the Western Balkan countries.

The second day of Mucunski's visit will focus on the economic potential and development of trade, with a visit to the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists and a meeting with its President, Vidmantas Janulevičius. Mucunski will also meet with Lithuania’s Minister of Economy and Innovation Edvinas Grikšas.

In Vilnius, the Foreign Minister will meet with members of the Macedonian diaspora living and working in Lithuania.

“This is Minister Mucunski’s first visit to Vilnius, and it is being held in a year that marks 30 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The aim of the visit is an overall intensification of bilateral relations, with a special emphasis on enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries. The main topics of discussion will be the bilateral relations, the Macedonian EU integration, as well as key regional, European, and trans-Atlantic issues,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.
