Fog reduces visibility on Gjavato, Bukovo slopes

Skopje, 5 January 2025 (MIA) - Fog reduces visibility from 80 to 100 meters on Gjavato slope and from 50 meters on Bukovo slope, the Auto Motto Association of Macedonia says.

The Bashino Selo bridge is closed for traffic from January 3, 2025.

Mainly dry roads are reported nationwide amid winter conditions with moderate traffic outside urban areas.

Delays at Macedonian borders to exit and enter the country are not reported.

The Auto-Motto Association of Macedonia (AMSM) notes that as of Nov. 15, 2024, winter equipment in vehicles is mandatory until Mar. 15, 2025.

Landslides are possible along the routes of Katlanovo – Veles, Mavrovo – Debar – Struga, Vinica – Berovo and Kochani – Delchevo.

Motorists are advised to drive carefully, adjust their speed to weather conditions and follow traffic rules, signs and signals.
