Skopje, 26 July 2023 (MIA) - Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani will take part in a quadrilateral ministerial meeting alongside Italian Vice-President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel, and Albanian Foreign Minister Olta Xhaçka, in Brindisi, Italy, on Thursday. 

Talks will focus on concrete ways to promote cooperation and support the implementation of the pan-European Corridor VIII connecting the Adriatic and Black Seas, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.

"This first quadrilateral ministerial meeting, which was initiated by Minister Bujar Osmani in 2021, is expected to grow into a political platform. Initiative 8 (I8) is conceived as a political platform that will provide an additional forum for the promotion of mutual cooperation and intensifying the political, economic, security, cultural and social exchange between the four countries along the Corridor VIII," the press release reads.ssh/nn/
