Athens, 14 December 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani will visit Athens on Thursday for talks with his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias on the country’s OSCE chairpersonship next year, the European perspective of the region, the Prespa Agreement and bilateral relations.

Minister Osmani will pay a day-long visit to Athens ahead of North Macedonia’s takeover of the OSCE chairpersonship. In addition to the meeting with Dendias, the two delegations will also hold a meeting as well as a working lunch, MIA’s Athens correspondent reports.

“The discussions are expected to focus on the takeover of the OSCE Chairmanship by North Macedonia, the European course of the Western Balkans, the full, consistent and good faith implementation of the Prespa Agreement, the further strengthening of bilateral relations in all areas, as well as in regional and international developments,” the Greek Foreign Ministry says announcing the meeting.
