FM Osmani says to raise issue of Macedonian cultural center in Blagoevgrad at Sofia talks
Skopje, 7 November 2022 (MIA) - Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani, who is in Sofia for the ministerial meeting of the Central European Initiative (CEI) member states, said he will raise the issue of the opening of the Macedonian Cultural Center in Blagoevgrad.
"It will be in the context of mutual promotion of the culture in the two countries," he told reporters in front of the Cultural and Information Center of the Republic of North Macedonia in Sofia ahead of tomorrow's talks with Bulgaria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikolay Milkov and Prime Minister Galab Donev.
The goal, Osmani said, is to maintain and upgrade the constructive atmosphere in the relations between our two countries built mainly in the past several months all the while preventing attempts to kidnap the agenda by those who do not wish the relations between our friendly countries to improve.
According to the Minister, the right track is building trust between the two countries and the two societies through institutional mechanisms and building of a joint future within the European Union.
