FM Osmani receives credentials of new Austrian Ambassador

Skopje, 1 August 2023 (MIA) – Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani received Tuesday the copies of credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Austria to North Macedonia, Martin Pammer.

FM Osmani wished the new Ambassador Pammer success in the performance of his duties, saying he expected it will contribute to closer cooperation. He expressed satisfaction with the excellent bilateral cooperation between the two countries, which is a confirmation and interest of both countries for further strengthening the economic relations as well, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release.

“Ambassador Pammer reaffirmed Austria’s unequivocal support to North Macedonia’s EU integration process, welcoming the government’s comprehensive reform agenda with special focus on the current challenges in the country,” reads the press release.

They also discussed the cooperation in relation to North Macedonia's OSCE Chairmanship, with an emphasis on the successful functioning of the OSCE as well as on the challenges in regard to the Russian aggression against Ukraine.
