Skopje, 21 March 2022 (MIA) – Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani met Monday in Brussels with members of the North Macedonia Friends group in the European Parliament and thanked the EP for its support and constructive approach in the process of North Macedonia’s EU accession, reflected through a number of initiatives and resolutions. North Macedonia Friends is an informal group comprised of Members of European Parliament (MEPs) of various political affiliations, seen as a forum for the country’s support in its European aspirations and its European path. Slovenian MEP Irena Joveva is the group’s chair, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
