FM Osmani meets counterparts on sidelines of CoE Committee of Ministers session

Skopje, 17 May 2024 (MIA) - Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani met Friday with counterparts from Germany, Austria, Hungary, Switzerland, Malta, Slovenia, Albania, Moldova and the Turkish Deputy FM on the sidelines of the 133rd session of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers.
Discussions with German FM Annalena Baerbock, Austrian FM Alexander Schallenberg and Hungarian FM Péter Szijjártó focused on the country's European file, with FM Osmani referring to the activities in meeting the reform agenda and the successfully completed screening process, while thanking for the consistent support to the EU integration process, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
Minister Osmani and Swiss counterpart Ignazio Cassis discussed bilateral relations and Switzerland's continued support to North Macedonia's reform process.
Osmani and Malta's Ian Borg referred to bilateral relations and cooperation within multilateral organizations, including the OSCE Troika that is set to strengthen the organization's role and efficiency.
FM Osmani and counterparts Tanja Fajon of Slovenia, Igli Hasani of Albania and Mihai Popșoi of Moldova, as well as Deputy FM Mehmet Kemal Bozay of Turkey, focused on bilateral relations and opportunities to enhance cooperation, as well as ways to promote regional cooperation, reads the press release.
