New York, 23 September 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski is set to meet with Greek counterpart Giorgos Gerapetritis on the sidelines of the 79. United Nations General Assembly in New York on Monday.

The first meeting between the countries' FM will focus on regional and international developments, and further enhancement of bilateral relations and economic ties, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.

Mucunski and Gerapetritis will also take part at the ministerial meeting of the Friends of the Western Balkans Group.

The FM will hold meetings with the A5 countries, SEECP member countries, the OSCE Troika, and hold bilateral meetings with the foreign ministers of several countries. In addition, Mucunski will hold business meetings related to foreign trade and foreign investments.

Minister Mucunski is to address the Interactive Dialogue 2: Enhancing multilateralism for international peace and security event on recommitting to global unity based on the UN Charter.

Also, Mucunski will participate in the second meeting of the G20 foreign ministers, as well as in the high-level open debate of the UN Security Council on Leadership for Peace.
