Skopje, 26 August 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski held a meeting Monday with the honorary consuls of foreign countries, during which he voiced hope they will provide great contribution to the country’s economy, strengthen the process of attracting foreign investments, encourage foreign trade, help tourism, as well as other promotions aimed at boosting cooperation.

According to the MFA, at the meeting Mucunski voiced gratitude for the productive cooperation and communication over the past period, which greatly contribute to the promotion of relations with the countries whose interests they represent.  

Mucunski also touched upon the geopolitical developments in the region and Europe, stressing that the country aims to be a strong, credible and responsible entity in international relations and a country that actively contributes to the stability, security, safety and economic prosperity of the region and beyond.

As part of his address, he highlighted the commitment of the honorary consuls to promote Macedonian culture and heritage, helping build greater trust between the countries.
