Skopje, 16 July 2024 (MIA) — Five Air Tractor aircraft and one Canadair have been deployed to fight the fire near Bitola's ring road, according to the Crisis Management Center.

Earlier, the Municipality of Bitola said the fire near Bitola had started up again and firefighters were trying to contain it.

The fire had been brought under control in the morning by five Air Tractors, three from the Protection and Rescue Directorate and two Turkish ones.

The Turkish aircraft are part of the international aid that recently arrived in the country. Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia also sent help. mr/
