First-ever national streaming platform launched in Skopje
Skopje, 3 November 2021 (MIA) – GLEY, the first national streaming platform, is available in the country starting Wednesday. It offers attractive and hand-picked local, regional and international movies and children’s shows, subtitled and dubbed in Macedonian and Albanian.
The platform will be streaming Macedonian TV shows including “Markovski Family”, “In Therapy”, “Prespav, as well as the “Black and White World”, a Croatian TV show, and the Serbian TV show “Tycoon”. Movies, including “Third Half-Time” and “Amok”, are also uploaded.
Subscription, which is monthly, is non-binding and viewers can cancel the subscription whenever they want. Those who will register by November 31 will get 30-day promotional viewing period free of charge. Three types of subscription are offered: Basic costing 299 denars a month and includes one device; Standard 399 denars a month for two devices; and Family in amount of 499 denars a month for four devices.
The platform can be streamed on smart TV sets, including LG and Samsung, and android TV, on mobile phones, laptops as well as tablets.
“Our country with GLEY is catching up with the global trend of global, regional and local streaming platforms. GLEY has a mission to support Macedonian production of films and shows,” said Darko Petrushevski, founder of the platform and Svod Master company CEO, at the launching ceremony.
He announced that GLEY packages will be customized soon for clients outside of the country.
