First international CEFE entrepreneurship conference takes place in Skopje
Skopje, 25 August 2022 (MIA) – Entrepreneurship is in need of new skills so that it can face new challenges, and cooperation between entrepreneurs from different countries is key to development, said the participants from  Germany, Slovenia, Venezuela, the Philippines, Turkey, as well as North Macedonia in the first global CEFE entrepreneurship conference held in Skopje on Thursday. CEFE Macedonia, the organizer of this conference, has been working on spreading the entrepreneurial culture through CEFE methodology with an action-oriented approach and simple learning methods in order to develop and strengthen the entrepreneurs’ managerial and personal skills. Jovan Stalevski, CEFE Macedonia president, said that the key to constant development is international cooperation with entrepreneurs from other countries. “Cooperation is one of the organization’s core values, through networking and international networking we share our experiences with our colleagues throughout the world. We can consult with the world for any issue and see how it was solved there, see what we can improve locally, so we have the global perspective alongside our own. Some issues we got stuck on actually had very simple solutions,” Stalevski said. He stated that there are CEFE centers in Asia, Africa, South America, Central America and Europe. Zoran Vitanov, CEFE co-founder, emphasized the importance of CEFE training for all who want to make their vision into a reality and be successful entrepreneurs. “Entrepreneurs are people creating new values, seeing everything that happens on the market as an opportunity, whereas the overwhelming majority of people see everything around them as a threat,” he said. Marlinde Bärenz, CEFE head in Germany, said that there are many complex challenges that require constant improvement and acquiring new skills. The two-day conference also marks the 25-year anniversary of the existence of the CEFE methodology for creating entrepreneurs in the country and region. dk/ba/
