Tirana, 11 July 2022 (MIA) – Taulant Bala, the Albanian Socialist Party whip, has said the first intergovernmental conference (IGC) with Albania, “and hopefully with North Macedonia” will take place next week, on July 19-20, MIA reports from Tirana. “This is good news. However, let’s not forget that the start of the accession negotiations with two more countries in the region is not sufficient amid the new geopolitical circumstances following the unjustified and unprovoked Russian aggression in Ukraine,” Bala told the Symi Symposium in Athens, BalkanWeb reports.
