First Deputy PM Marichikj visits Brussels
- First Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs in the caretaker Government, Bojan Marichikj, is paying a working visit to Brussels on Tuesday and Wednesday. As part of the visit, Marichikj will meet with Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib, whose country currently holds the presidency of the EU Council.
Brussels, 13 February 2024 (MIA) – First Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs in the caretaker Government, Bojan Marichikj, is paying a working visit to Brussels on Tuesday and Wednesday. As part of the visit, Marichikj will meet with Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib, whose country currently holds the presidency of the EU Council.
In addition, Marichikj will meet with Deputy Managing Director for the Western Balkans at the European External Action Service (EEAS), Marko Makovec, Director-General of the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR), Gert Jan Koopman, as well as with Simon Mordue, the Chief Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of the European Council Charles Michel.
On Wednesday, Deputy PM Marichikj will be part of a delegation to Brussels led by caretaker Prime Minister Talat Xhaferi.
