Findings on indoor air quality in schools and kindergartens to be presented

Skopje, 11 November 2024 (MIA) – Findings on the quality of indoor air in Kumanovo, Gostivar, Strumica, Kavadarci and Struga will be presented Monday as part of the UNDP project on tackling air pollution.
Opening speeches at the event will be delivered by Swedish Ambassador Ami Larsson Jain and UNDP Resident Representative Armen Grigoryan. Goce Delchev University Rector, Dejan Mirakovski will present the findings.
A panel discussion is set to take place in which Minister of Education and Science, Vesna Janevska, Health Minister Arben Taravari and Gjoko Velkovski, Deputy Minister of Social Policy, Demographics and Youth, will participate.
The Tackling Air Pollution project is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning and the municipalities of Kumanovo, Gostivar, Strumica, Kavadarci and Struga as part of the UN Framework Program, funded by Sweden.
