Skopje, 27 September 2024 (MIA) – Justice Minister Igor Filkov at a meeting Friday in Ohrid with his Hungarian counterpart Bence Tuzson highlighted the importance of Hungary’s support in North Macedonia’s EU accession process.

Hungarian Minister Tuzson said our country has to follow the EU accession roadmap and accelerate the process of alignment of national laws with EU’s legislation, the Justice Ministry said. 

“The ministers stressed that there are no issues regarding international legal aid in criminal and civil cases between the two countries,” said the press release.

Hungarian Minister Tuzson presented the change to the Hungarian national legislation and the way the country uses artificial intelligence in the data base of laws and bylaws.

“Minister Bence Tuzson invited Justice Minister Igor Filkov to pay an official visit to Budapest in order the novelty in the digitization of data base of laws and bylaws to be demonstrated,” stated the Justice Ministry.
